Adding custom prints to a swimwear collection is something we handle for many of our clients. We offer a true digital print service on Nylon using high standard machines due to the colour saturation being true to eye. If you use a sublimation service on Polyester, not nearly as soft & much harsher to the touch.
Many client of ours who started printing on Polyester moved over to digital on Nylon after comparing the differences in hand feel & colour depth.
Please submit your artwork in Vector format in EPS, PDF, CDR, or JPEG, 300 dpi, repeatable, and to scale. If this is an issue for you, please send us what you have and our graphics team will see what they can do.

Printing digitally on Nylon in either matte or ribbed fabrics will never fade in contact with saltwater or direct sunshine.

Sublimation is sometimes referred to as digital sublimation when in fact, it has nothing to do with digital. It is a process of heat pressing your motifs onto the top of the fabric, more suited to brighter colours used mainly in Activewear production. Colours will fade over time.

Online sellers offer a huge selection of motifs in vector format, suitable for digital print. Vector format is brilliant as it allows colours to be edited in minutes. For example, a sky & dark blue, green & brown motif can easily be made into black, grey, ivory & tan.
Selecting ready made prints reduces a task that’s both costly and time-consuming to one that can be completed in an hour or so with minimum effort & cost.

To select your print, go to www.shutterstock.com & type in some keywords related to the motif you’re seeking.
For this example, we used “small flower print seamless”. Adding the word seamless normally ensures the print is repeatable top to bottom & left to right.
Now, in the drop-down menu in the top left-hand corner, select Vector & press enter & you should see something like this https://tinyurl.com/yvaftttd
Click the motif you like & a new page opens with more images of a similar nature, allowing you to refine your search further. Once you have selected your print, send us the link so we can check that the motif is suitable to print & if all is good, for USD 30, we can purchase on your behalf, or you can purchase & send over via wetransfer
